Exercise Demonstrations - Traps

Trapezius muscle group

Abnormally large upper trap muscles are normally one of the more physically evident signs of steroid abuse (thanks to an increase of androgen receptors in this area), along with excessive sweating and a "puffed" look. From a general aesthetic point-of-view, it's nice to have well developed traps, but provided they're in proportion with the remainder of your physique.

Listed below are a range of exercises that predominantly require the trap muscles (mid & upper back)  for elevation of the shoulder complex.
