Often confused as a chest exercise, as your chest is being stretched whilst your major back muscles are being worked (and vice versa), Dumbbell Pullovers are an exercise to isolate the Lats. For the aforementioned reasons, Dumbbell Pullovers work great in a back and chest opposing superset.
Starting from the position shown, this is the contraction point of your lats, you should recline the weight slowly as though you're performing a lat stretch. With your shoulders locked-in and elbows stiff (not straight), you should feel your lats working throughout the full range of movement. If not, you're not performing the exercise correctly! You may wish to try Stiff-Arm Pulldowns too, which is for-all-intents-and-purposes the same exercise. Personally, I much prefer Stiff-Arm Pulldowns.
