Treadmill Workouts - Interval


Treadmill Workouts

Typically, the greater the work ratio to rest the more difficult the workout will be. Below is a sample interval workout for a "fit" individual. To alter difficulty, or to create your own workouts, simply alter work to rest ratio, speed, incline, duration etc. Your workout possibilities really are endless.

So, here goes - sample treadmill interval workout.


Treadmill Interval Workout:

Warm Up: 5 Mins @ 3-6 kph (no incline)

Main Workload: 30 mins at 2:1 Ratio
2 Min @ 7-14 KPH @ 2% Incline
1 Min @ 3-6 KPH @ 2% Incline

Cool Down: 5 Mins Easy @ 6-3 kph (no incline)
