Waist to Hip Ratio (WHR)


Measuring Waist to Hip Ratio.

If you've already made note of your or your clients Circumferential Measurements, it's worthwhile using the recorded waist and hip measurements to see how the results compare against the World Health Organizations guidelines. Current risk levels are identified as males over 1.0 and females over 0.8.

The formula for calculating Waist to Hip Ratio (WHR) is:

Waist (Inches) / Hips (inches) = Waist to Hip Ratio (WHR)
